Group: lol :-) Share Some Humor™ Subject: New comment (42) on "This May be the Last Announcement from lol :-) Share Some Humor™" Everyone has freedom of expression & thought.He is free to express it without restriction or curtailment.But when it comes to a professional group in Linkedin some decorum & restraint is always preferable. Some words or language which were used in some posts may be of common occurance in our day to day life in somebodys perception but it may not be common occurance in other members day to day life & surroundings, but in a group the moderator has every right to police & edit the discussion if found inappropriate as per groups policy/guidelines. This is not hypocritical but using common sense by moderator in making the discussion enjoyable by all from office & our home. We should not give the Linkedin authority an opportunity to close down the group due to inappropriate content(inappropriate as per Linkedin's perception which may very well be appropriate in some members perception) Most of us enjoyed good humour ,laughter & good natured banter in this group & would like to continue. So dear members without going into what is appropriate / inappropriate, obscene/normal, leg pulling/name calling , freedom of speech/policing lets abide by the group's policy & enjoy the laughter & smiles without giving the Linkedin authority any opportunity to clamp down on the group Posted by I.
